1. The feeding size and water content of materials.

Gasification occurs at the surface of the particles during the drying process. Granular material is easy to be spread and dried. The powdery materials with high water content are easy to form in groups, not only the particles are wrapped in the mission, but also there is remained water between particles. Therefore, slime is much more difficult to dry than other materials. In order to improve the drying speed of slime, usually dry the flotation coal, or install special plates and chains in the drum of slime dryer to scatter the slime.

2. The structure of its shoveling plate.

The drum of slime dryer can be installed with various shoveling plates, and its role is to stir up, loosen, lift and scatter the wet slime after the drying process. Then the contact surface between the wet coal and hot gas will become larger, so as to accelerate the drying process. The shoveling plate is often the blade type, and the slime dryer is also needed to installed plates and chains with different forms in its cylinder to spread and dry the slime.

3. The inclination of the drum

The drum angle of slime dryer affects its processing ability. The property, grain size and density of materials depend on the inclination of the drum, which is always 4 ° ~ 5 °.

4. The speed of the drum.

The speed of its drum affects the gasification efficiency and processing capacity of slime dryer. When the speed increases, the processing capacity will increase, as well as the drying strength and gasification, but the final moisture index is bigger. The normal rotating speed of slime drying machine is 6 ~ 8 rpm.

5. The temperature of hot gas.

If the temperature of hot gas is high, the drying speed will be faster, but if the temperature is too high, it will affect the quality of the slime. Usually the temperature of mixing chamber is 700 ～ 800 ℃,and the discharging temperature is 60 ℃ ～ 80℃.
